With MyTime, you can sell gift cards to clients online. Gift cards purchased online are electronic (not physical) gift cards that clients can use to pay for products, appointments, and classes. In order to sell gift cards online, you'll need to enable 2 settings on your Business Setup menu.
The first step is to enable gift card purchases on your Settings page (see image below).
- Go to your Settings tab
- Toggle Enable gift card purchase? to YES
Next, go to your Website Tools page > Widget Configuration page.
Ensure that Gift Cards is checked under the Widget Includes section.
Once all these requirements are met, your customers can purchase gift cards online!
Steps to Purchase a Gift Card on Widget
- Go to the booking widget
- Select Gift Card link
- Enter the details of the purchase, such as the amount, who the gift card is for, who it's from, etc.
- Select the “Continue Checkout” button
- On the checkout page, enter your card information then complete the purchase.
Congratulations! You have successfully purchased a gift card.
