Cancellation Reasons

MyTime allows you to enforce cancellation reasons for appointments whether or not you have a cancellation policy enforced. This feature only applies to appointments cancelled by your staff members. 


Enabling the Cancellation Reasons functionality can be done by doing the following:

  • Go to Business Setup > Settings page

  • Under the Cancellation Policy heading, enable the toggle for ”Activate Cancellation Reasons Dropdown

  • Once enabled, you will be able to add your cancellation reasons. You can also add as many reasons as you would like by using the +Add link.

Once you have saved your cancellation reasons, your staff members will be prompted to select a reason when cancelling appointments on your schedule or removing clients from the waitlist. The first reason entered in settings will be the one shown as default, however, you will be able to choose any option from the list.

The cancellation reason will be shown in the Cancellation report.
