MyTime Booking Widget

The MyTime online booking experience features: 

  •  Modern responsive design that looks great and will maximize conversion rates
  •  Customization of colors and styles to better blend into your website or mobile app
  •  Ability to set the Book Appointment button to link to specific services or staff member,   allowing for more creative possibilities on your website layout

The MyTime online booking experience via our booking widget, will be used by default for bookings from Facebook and Instagram.  To utilize the booking widget for online booking experience on your own website or mobile app, your webmaster will need to use the JavaScript code snippet that can be found at Marketing > Website Tools.


Then, select whether you'd like to install a button or a booking widget.

Express Checkout - When the client clicks on the Express Checkout Book Now button, they are re-directed to your MyTime booking page. The Book Now button is free for everyone with a MyTime account.

Widget - The client books directly on your website. When the client clicks on the widget, a popup will appear directly on your website that allows clients to book (see examples below). Booking through a widget is free for merchants on a Premium and Enterprise MyTime subscriptions, and costs $0.75 per transaction for businesses without a Premium subscription.

Installing a Express Checkout Button

If you'd like to install a button, select the option on the bottom that reads "Redirect clients to your custom landing page on mytime.com to complete their booking."


Next, choose what you'd like the layout of your button to look like. Your button can hover over your website or have a fixed placement. You can also choose the button position and it will appear either horizontal or vertically on your page. You will also be able to choose the default location. 



Installing a Widget

If you'd like to install a widget, select the option on the top that reads "Open an appointment book modal on your website/mobile app (recommended)." Follow the installation flow that is provided and your new booking widget will be installed and ready to utilize. Merchants also have the option to install the widget using the generated button code or select "Do it for me" to have MyTime install it for you.  

Disclaimer: The button on the top (for widgets) has a charge of $.75 per booking if you are NOT a Premium or Enterprise subscriber. If you are not sure which plan you are on, please follow this link: What plan am I on?

If you are on a Premium or Enterprise subscription, there is no $0.75 fee per booking and this box will read FREE.

As we develop and implement additional features and enhancements to our booking widget MyTime will automatically apply them to your widget. A few upcoming features include: 

  • Reschedule appointments
  • Create recurring appointments
  • Clients would have the capability to chat with our merchants from the widget
  • Purchase memberships, gift cards, and packages
  • Allow clients to manage their appointments and memberships
