You can customize your hours for a particular day or week without it affecting your regular working hours that were set up on your profile. This can be done by using the ‘Hours’ button on schedule or the ‘Edit Availability’ option.
This feature also provides you the option to set your customized hours as recurring. This option is useful when staff members have a recurring day off. For example, if a staff member has every Tuesday off for the next 4 weeks, they can set recurring customized hours. Recurring customized hours are also useful for when there are holidays or special events and the staff member has a different schedule than usual for a specific period of time.
Customized hours should not be used for time tracking purposes. Merchants should use the Time Tracking Report which can be found by going to Dashboard > Reports > Staff > Time Tracking.
