Find Next Available Date and Time on Scheduler

The "Find Next Available Date and Time on Scheduler" feature enables staff members to easily find open dates and times for booking appointments. This feature provides a clear view of available slots, simplifying the scheduling process. This article will explain how the feature works. 

Things to Know:

  • This feature displays two hyperlinks on the appointment modal:
    • Visual Booking: Clicking the hyperlink allows you to open your calendar and visually scan for an available time, which you can click to schedule the appointment. 
    • View Openings: Clicking the hyperlink allows you to automatically identify and display the next available date and time for the selected service or staff member. The "View Openings" hyperlink will become available after selecting a service on the appointment modal 
  • Available dates will appear in black with a green dot, while unavailable dates will be grayed out
  • The time picker will display only available time slots

Visual Booking

To find the next available date and time on the scheduler for appointments using the "Visual Booking" option:
 
  1. Navigate to your schedule
  2. Filter by desired location, staff, and date
  3. Click on an open time slot of a service provider OR select the + New Appointment button from the sidebar                         
  4. From the appointment modal, click the "Visual Booking" hyperlink
  5. This will open the visual booking view, allowing you to visually scan for an available time, which you can then click to schedule the appointment
  6. Once you do, the appointment modal will reappear with the time and staff selected
  7. Add your client and service and then save the appointment
 

View Openings

To find the next available date and time on the scheduler for appointments using the "View Openings" option:
  1. Navigate to your schedule
  2. Filter by desired location, staff, and date
  3. Click on an open time slot of a service provider OR select the + New Appointment button from the sidebar                                 
  4. From the appointment modal, add the client and select the staff member
  5. Select the desired service
  6. Once the service is selected, the "View Openings" hyperlink will appear
  7. Select "View Openings" to find the next available date and time
  8. Once selected, the "Find Available Date and Time" modal will appear. Choose your preferred date from the calendar and select a time from the sidebar
  9. Click "Done" to save your selection
  10. The selected date and time will be added to the appointment modal
  11. Once these changes are saved, the appointment will appear on the schedule at the selected date and time
