Custom Client Icons

MyTime offers the flexibility to create custom icons for clients to quickly view important attributes about appointment attendees. This article will guide you through the steps to configure and use icons for a personalized touch to profiles.

Things to Know:

  • Custom icons can be created at the global (parent) level or the child (company) level from the Clients Tab > Manage Clients Menu > Customize Client Fields.
  • The "Manage Client Setup" access control setting governs the ability to customize custom fields
  • Users can either choose from predefined icons provided by MyTime or create their own using SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format
  • Each profile can be associated with multiple icons, allowing for a diverse and personalized representation
  • Once icons are added to profiles, they will become visible on the appointment modal and appointment tooltip within the schedule
  • The option to create custom icons is managed by the 'Enable Icon Custom Field' setting

Custom Icon Setting Configuration

To enable icon custom field:

1. Go to Location Setup > Setting

2. Navigate to the 'Calendar' section and locate the 'Enable Icon Custom Field' setting

3. Toggle to 'Yes'

4. Save changes

Add Custom Client Icons

To create custom client icons:

1. Navigate to the Clients tab

2. Select Manage Clients

3. Select Customize Client Fields 

4. Navigate to the 'Custom Client Fields' section  and select 'Add Field' 

5. Click on the dropdown in the "Field Type" section and select "Icons" from the list

6. Enter the desired field name

7. Click the dropdown arrow to reveal predefined icons. You can add more icons by selecting 'Add New Option' 

8. If +Add is selected, it will prompt you to go to your download folder to choose your downloaded SVG icons from your device

9. Once the icons are selected, add tooltips to the icons (tooltips are required for clarity)

10. Save

 

Add Icons on Client Profiles

To add icons on client profiles:

1. Navigate to the Clients tab

2. Filter by the desired location

3. Search and select the client profile to which you want to add icons

4. From the client profile, click the edit icon in the 'Details' section

5. Select the preferred icon or icons you wish to add to the client's profile

6. Select the save button located at the bottom of the modal

7. Within the profile editing interface, the icons custom field will be prominently displayed
