Multi-client services are configured for more than 1 client and can be used for couple bookings or multiple family member appointments. In this article, we will walk through the steps your client will take to book these services online.

- The booking widget will only facilitate 1 additional client, even if the service is configured for more than 2 clients. Eg: If the service "Couple Massage" is configured for 3 clients per appointment, the booking widget will only allow you to book for the main client and enter details for 1 additional client. However, after the appointment has been booked, you can open in-store and add additional clients
- Booking services configured for additional clients and services not configured for additional clients online will not be permitted due to their different configurations. Once a service designed for additional clients is selected, the services not set up for additional clients will be greyed out. When hovered over, they will display, "Only services that accommodate the same number of guests may be booked at one time." message
- If the email address entered for the additional client(s) is not already registered in the MyTime database, a new client profile will be created. For existing clients, the system will locate the profile and the appointment will be scheduled for the existing profile
- Using the "Book Again" option on the booking widget's appointment confirmation page or the appointment modal in-store will not prefill the additional client details previously entered in the new appointment modal

The confirmation page, My Account, and checkout page will show the data for the main and additional client(s). They all will receive automated emails for the online booking unless the "Send confirmation to additional client" option is unchecked

Canceling the appointment cancels the appointment for both the client and the additional client(s)
- By default, when using the "Book Again" button, appointments are prefilled with information from previous bookings. However, the option to disable this automatic prefilling is controlled by a hidden setting that can only be configured by the MyTime team. To enable this setting, please contact support at support@mytime.com.
To book these services, clients would need to:
- Navigate to your booking widget
- Select "Book" next to the services configured for additional clients
- Select add-on service if needed, then select a time on the 'Pick a time' page
- On the checkout page, complete the intake form and credit card details (if necessary), along with the additional client details. The first and last name, email address, and phone number are required
- If they wish not to update the additional client of the booking, check the "Send confirmation to additional client" checkbox
- Click the 'Complete Booking' button to checkout. The confirmation page will then display all details for the appointment including both the client and the client
