Applying Discounts & Promotions on Scheduler App

In POS, you can apply discounts to a single item or entire ticket. You can also manually add a discount or use a promotion from one that was created in Marketing > Promotions. In this article, we will walk through the steps of applying discounts and promotions on the scheduler app.

Things to know:

  • To add a promotion to products, services, gift cards, events/classes, memberships, and packages, you have to include them in the promotion when configuring it
  • On a ticket if you select a promotion, you cannot use the discount option, and vice versa

To add discounts and promotions on the scheduler app, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the scheduler app
  2. At the bottom of the screen navigate to POS > New Ticket screen
  3. Search for the desired client or add a new one if it's their first timeapply discount.jpg  
  4. Add an item to the ticket
  5. Click on "Discounts" 
  6. You'll see the options "No Discount," "Percentage Discount," and "Dollar Amount Discount"
  7. Once you've chosen how you want the discount to apply, enter the amount. For example, if you select the discount using a percentage, input the percentage of the item you want discounted
  8. On the same page, you'll have the option to apply promotions to the ticket. Choose which promotion you want to apply. Please note that if you select a promotion, you cannot use the discount option, and vice versa                                    1715710619152.jpg
  9. Once you've entered the discount amount or chosen the promotion, click "Save," and you'll be redirected to the ticket page
  10. At the top of the screen, click on "Pay"                                                 pay.jpg                                  
  11. Enter the payment method the client will be using
  12. Once payment is received, click "Finish"                                          finished.jpg
  13. You'll be directed to a page where you'll be provided with the ticket number and ticket details ticket number.jpg
  14. After reviewing the ticket details, click "Done" to exit the page and be redirected to create a new ticket
