MyTime's flexibility in handling both mobile and physical services lets you tailor your offerings to meet client needs effectively. This dual approach can help you cater to a wider audience, streamline your operations, and enhance overall client satisfaction.
Things to know:
- For mobile businesses, it’s essential to offer mobile services. Make sure to select the "Client's Location" option under Location Availability in the service settings. Learn more here.
- When configuring your account as a mobile business, please keep these points in mind:
- Mobile Only: If you select the "I travel to customers" option, your business operates entirely mobile without a physical location. You will provide services directly at clients' locations.
- Hybrid Option: If you choose "Customers travel to me and I travel to them," clients can book appointments to either visit your physical location or have you travel to their location.
- Service Radius: If a client's address is outside your configured service radius, they won’t be able to book mobile appointments. They will see an error message: "Sorry, this service is only available within X miles of zip code X" when attempting to complete their booking.
-
Location Details: If a client selects the "At Your Location, up to X mile(s)" option in the booking widget, their address will appear in the Location section on the appointment details in the scheduler.
If a client chooses the "In-Store" option, the company's location nickname (if configured) will appear in the Location section. If no nickname is set, the company’s address will be shown instead.
Mobile Business Configuration
To configure your account as a mobile business, simply:
- Navigate to Business Setup > Business Profile
- Scroll to the "Locations" section. There will be a dropdown at the top to choose your business preference
- From the dropdown, select between the "I travel to customers" and the "Customer travel to me AND I travel to them" options:
- I travel to customers - This option is designed for businesses that provide strictly mobile services and do not operate from a physical location.
- Customers travel to me AND I travel to them - This option is intended for businesses that have a physical location but also offer services at clients' locations.
-
Next to the dropdown, you can enter the service radius in miles for the business. This means the business will only be available to travel to locations within that radius.
- Save
