Notification Center

The notification center is split into two sections: "Alerts" and "What's New." The alert section showcases newly booked online appointments and classes and alerts for low or out-of-stock inventory. On the other hand, the "What's New" section provides updates from MyTime regarding new features. This article will delve into utilizing the notification center and its contents.

Things to know:

  • For accounts with multiple locations, you must filter by a specific location to view alerts relevant to that particular location.
  • Low-stock and out-of-stock alerts will only appear if they are set up in your inventory configuration. Learn more here
  • Stock alert notifications can only be viewed by location owners and managers
  • At any given time, only the six most recent alerts will be displayed
  • The notification bell can be accessed from any page, located at the top-left-hand corner. The number shown on the bell signifies the count of unread alerts.
  • The message "You have no alerts" is displayed when there are zero alerts for a specific location

Upon clicking on the notification bell, you will be provided with the option to view both alerts and what's new.

Alerts

To view alerts:

  1. Click on the notification bell
  2. Select the "Alerts" tab
  3. Select the desired location
  4. A preview of each alert relevant to the selected location will be shown alert.png
  5. Clicking on the hyperlink for an appointment will open the appointment on the schedule, clicking the hyperlink for classes will open the class roster, and clicking on the low/out-of-stock alert will redirect you to the POS > Inventory page
  6. To remove the alert from the notification center, click the "X" on the top right of the modal

What's New

To view the What's New section:

  1. Click on the notification bell
  2. Select the "What's New" tab
  3. A preview of the recently released changes will be shown alerts 2.png
  4. To view a specific release, click on the heading
  5. A modal will appear with information regarding the change alert 3.png
  6. To close the modal, click on the "Great, got it!" hyperlink. To remove the alert from the notification center, click the "X" on the top right of the modal
