Adding Appointments on Scheduler App

In this article, we will walk through the steps on how to add appointments using the scheduler app. 

Booking Single Appointments

  1. Log into the app. For details on how to, learn here
  2. Once signed in you will be directed to the schedule by default
  3. From here you can choose your filter of what to display on the scheduler:      
    • Working Staff - Tapping the arrow next to 'Working Staff' takes you to the Location and Staff page, where you may filter what you want to see on the schedule.                                                 
      • Staff Member - Choose whether to display the working staff, all staff, or specific staff members
      • View By - Select whether the schedule should be displayed in day or week view
      • Multiple Columns - Select whether the staff members should be displayed in columns or whether the columns on the schedule should be removed
    • Choose the date - Tap the displayed date in the top left-hand corner which will display the date picker in the month view or use the arrows (< >) to move the date on the schedule
    • Choose Staff - Scroll across to choose the preferred staff
    • Choose Time - Scroll up and down to view the available times 
  4. Tap on the time slot you would like to add the appointment under the preferred staff OR tap the '+' icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to open the 'New Event' modal then complete the appointment details:                                                             
    • Client - If the client exists in your Client Manager, tap the arrow to the left of the 'Client" field to display your client list then locate and tap on the client's name to add them. If the client is not in your Client Manager you can add the client's information by tapping the '+' icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen in the Client Manager                      
    • Family/Pet/Vehicle - For family/pet/vehicle business, tap the arrow to the left of the field to display the family/pet/vehicle list then locate and tap to add them
    • Staff Member - This will be auto-filled based on the staff section selected to open the appointment modal or you can select the staff by tapping the (>) arrow to the right
    • Time - This will be auto-filled based on the time slot selected or the current time on the schedule once the client has been added. 
    • Service - Add the service by tapping the arrow to the left of the 'Service' row to select the preferred service
    • Note - Add appointments if needed 
    • + Family/Pet/Vehicle - If you wish to add more family members, pets, or vehicles, you can add the information by tapping here. Another section will be exposed when selected to enter the additional details                                                               
    • Color - Change the color of the appointment by selecting from the default list of colors
  5. Save

You'll be redirected to the scheduler to see the appointment visible in the time slot and under the staff selected.

Booking Recurring Appointments

To create recurring appointments, tap the arrow to the right to open the time modal then the arrow beside 'Repeat'.

  2. You will be on the Schedule. Tap on the time slot you would like to add the appointment, under the preferred staff OR tap the '+' icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to open the 'New Event' modal then complete the appointment details:               
  3. After adding the client, the time slot will appear with an arrow to the right, tap that arrow to be directed to the time modal
  4. On the time modal, you can set the appointment to recurring by configuring the following:
    • Repeat Every - Change the number by scrolling up or down. Once set to a number, another picker will appear to the right to allow you to choose the frequency, days, weeks or month
      • Days                                                                                     
      • Weeks - When set to weeks, it expands the "On" section which displays the days of the week to choose from. You can select multiple days                                       
      • Months - When set to months, it expands the "On" section which displays the option to choose between 2 options for the month                         
    • End Date - When toggled on, a date picker appears for you to choose the end date
