We provide the option to have a prompt displayed on existing appointment modals to notify staff members when the price of service changes. In this article, we will walk through the steps on how the prompt is displayed.
Things to know:
- This feature is controlled by a hidden setting that only the MyTime team can enable. To enable the hidden setting, please contact our Support Team at support@mytime.com.
- The prompt to update the service price will not appear on the appointment modal if the setting, Automatically Calculate Price Based on Start and End Date of Appointment is enabled.
- If the access control for Accessing Appointments is set to view, staff members can still see the prompt and alter the service price on the appointment modal.
Update Appointment Service Price Prompt on Appointment Modal
- Navigate to Schedule
- Book an appointment for a service
- Save
- When you alter the service pricing on the service menu and open any existing appointments, you will notice the prompt just below the service's name and price.
- Click the "Update Price" link
- The price will be updated to the new service price and the error message will be removed
- Save the appointment modal
