Checking Out Appointments and Classes on the Scheduler App

In this article, we will walk you through the steps of how to check out appointments and classes on the scheduler app. 

  1. Log into the app. For details on how to, learn here
  2. Once signed in you will be directed to the schedule by default
  3. Locate the appointment or class/event you wish to check out and select to open
    • For appointments, when the modal opens there will be an action button called "Checkout" below the client's details, click that button                           
    • For classes, when the modal opens:
      • Click the 'View Attendee' button                                                     
      • On the 'Attendees' page, select the (>) to proceed                           
      • Click the 'Checkout' button                                                             
  4. You will be directed to the "New Ticket" POS screen, from here you will see the appointment/class details auto-filled with the price but you can also do the following:                                                                       
    • +Tip - Add tips. This option is only available on appointments
    • + Appointment - Add appointments from unpaid tickets with appointments 
    • +Service - Add services
    • +Attendee - Add attendees from unpaid classes/events
    • + Product - Add products 
    • Add Note - Add notes to the ticket
    • Print Receipt - Print the receipt
    • Clear / Save - Click the clear button to clear the ticket or the save button to save the ticket
  5. Proceed by selecting "Pay" at the top right-hand corner of the screen to proceed to the register                                                                                       
  6. On the register page, take payment by choosing the client's preferred method of payment from the payment options listed
  7. Once done, click 'Finish' at the top right-hand corner of the screen to close the ticket or 'Save' at the bottom of the screen to save the ticket                                                                                                                                      
  8. The closed ticket will then be visible with the ticket number and the method of payment used
